This leading, award-winning integrated agency requires a dynamic AM with a strong promotional marketing background and knowledge of the retail market. This agency is young, hugely successful and growing rapidly. Essentially it is a marketing communications agency that blends media and disciplines to deliver a range of integrated campaigns – direct response, SP, DM, Integrated and Digital. As an agency, they like to do things a little differently and will deliberately seek out clients that are open to innovation and will allow them to utilise their full creativity and passion – these may not necessarily be number 1 brands all the time. This role will involve you working a major retail telecoms account. You’ll have at least 3 years promotional marketing experience, with exposure to both telecoms accounts and the retail market. You’ll also be academically bright with a strong understanding of strategic campaign planning. The role is as much about strategic thinking as the doing. In addition, you’ll be passionate about brands and creativity, as well as being an innovative thinker and idea generator. The agency tends to utilise account handlers that are relatively self-sufficient, happy to take a lot of responsibility and ownership but ultimately enjoy being part of a team. You’ll be articulate with superb communication and presentation skills. Plus, you’ll have a thirst for knowledge, a desire to grow and you’ll strive for professional and personal achievement. A sense of humour is also essential! You must also be good at spotting new business opportunities.
