Our client a well established, award winning, design company, set up over 30 years ago and based just North of London, is looking for a dynamic business developer to join its team and be instrumental in expanding the business. The company offers a wide variety of design services covering graphic design and printing, web design, digital video production and editing, and marketing and strategic consulting. Mostly the work produced is high-end printed material for the health / travel / corporate and education sectors. This is a new role being created within the agency to strengthen its sales team. You must have a proven track record in sales / business development for the creative industry and ideally you'll have a good knowledge of the design and print process. The role will involve working on the full sales cycle - once initial contact has been made, you will be responsible for developing client relationships, presentations and following the sale through to completion. Key skills and experience required: • At least three years sales / new business experience, ideally in the creative industry. • Proven track record in winning new opportunities. • Excellent presentation skills. • Excellent telephone manner. • Ability to build strong client relationships. • Ability to communicate on all levels. • Passion for Design.
