Our client, a young, event communications company based in SW London, is looking for a dynamic Business Developer to join its small team and be instrumental in growing the business.
The company offers a complete range of support services for conference, exhibition and event organizers, as well as venue owners and exhibitors. Mostly the work involves branding and design for large format graphics but they also get involved with additional print and web projects eg brochures, websites etc.
This is a new role being created within the agency. You must have a proven track record in sales / business development for the creative industry. Ideally you'll also have a background in events and exhibitions, although candidates wishing to get into this sector will also be considered. The role will involve working on the full sales cycle - from initial research and targeting, to attending meetings, presenting proposals and negotiating contracts.
Key skills and experience required:
* At least one years sales / new business experience, ideally in the creative industry.
* Proven track record in winning new opportunities.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Ability to build strong client relationships.
* Ability to communicate on all levels.
* Passion for Events and Exhibitions.
