This lively youth marketing agency is still relatively young but is already incredibly successful and is now looking for a Business Development Manager to help establish and grow the business yet further - as a strategically led youth marketing consultancy. The agency isn’t strictly a design, advertising or marketing company – but they do all of those things, and more. It produces a variety of groundbreaking communications for a diverse range of public and private sector clients. All members of the agency are driven by the opportunity to work on youth communication issues that are close to their hearts and have a background in the youth sector. They seek out the specific clients and projects they want to work on and come up with solutions that are fresh and positive – from TV, press and cinema work to SP, marketing comms and ambient marketing. This is a new role being created in the agency and work on a mixture of new business, partnership marketing and business development of existing clients. Initially you’ll work with senior members of the team to develop and implement the new business strategy, including a review of internal marketing materials. You must be a real strategic thinker with the capability to work on the full new business cycle - from initial research and targeting, through to presenting, negotiating and closing deals. The agency also seeks out partners for a number of it’s campaigns and you’ll be integrally involved with identifying and targeting relevant parties. Key skills and experience required: Proven track record in identifying and winning new business in the creative sector Ability to build long-standing client relationships Ability to communicate persuasively at board level First class written and verbal communication skills Superb opportunity for drive business developer to join this progressive and open-minded agency and help drive the business forward.
