Responsibilities: To design, build and update websites and web features of varying sizes for White Label Productions Ltd's client base according to specified deadlines, with both sole responsibility on a project basis, and working as part of a team. Areas of responsibility designing websites and features based on existing graphic or new media designs, requiring a good background knowledge of design styles to ensure continuous style and/or branding designing websites and features from initial flat visual stage through to build and completion. Emphasis is on excellent functionality combined with strong visual appeal understanding and translating web briefs from clients working with colleagues both within the new media departments and other relevant departments to gather assets required for design projects updating existing websites for various clients to existing styles and standards, both by designing, coding and via content management systems uploading files to stage/live servers via ftp, transferring files from stage to live working closely within the new media department to ensure relevant staff are aware of project progress, provide approval to work where necessary and are kept informed of updates to site files on servers preparing and submitting accurate timesheets for daily work carried out assist where required in the preparation of weekly client reports attend New Media progress meetings when required provide holiday cover for Senior Web Designer Skills Minimum 3 yrs experience in web design Excellent knowledge of the internet good knowledge of printed graphic design programming: excellent working knowledge of html and css & good working knowledge of flash, php, asp, js applications: excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, ftp, Quark excellent creative skills
