Our client, a young, successful design agency, is looking for a dynamic new business executive to join its small team based in Nottingham and help drive the business into new areas. The role is based in Nottingham so you must live in or around the area but there will also be some travel into London for client meetings, as this is where the majority of the clients are based . The agency covers design for print and currently works with a number of youth / music sector clients however they are looking to move more into the fashion / interiors sectors. This is a new role being created within the agency. Ideally you will have a design or creative background though not essential, but a passion for the industry and a proven track record in sales/new business development is a must. Initially the role will involve researching, identifying and targeting new business to an agreed strategy but as you gain experience, you will also be involved in writing proposals and presenting at new business pitches. Key skills and experience required:
* At least one years sales / new business experience, ideally in the creative industry.
* Proven track record in winning new opportunities.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Ability to build strong client relationships.
* Ability to communicate on all levels.
* Knowledge of youth / fashion markets.
