A design agency in Central London with a very prestigious client base are looking to hire a client facing Senior Designer to join their busy team. This is a key role within the agency and therefore the person for the job should have - In-depth knowledge of digital design from a creative and technical perspective - 5+ years experience as digital designer - Flash / digital design expert - HTML (DreamWeaver MX an advantage) expert - Good knowledge of CSS - Excellent working knowledge of Actionscript - Excellent understanding of designing websites to comply with accessibility guidelines and search engine optimisation - Excellent understanding of information architecture – navigation, usability, site structure, content definition - Design based degree (Graphic Design or equivalent) - 4+ years’ experience in client facing role - Excellent understanding of application of digital design in business - Ability to explain and justify design decisions simply and efficiently, in plain English - Excellent communication and presentation skills to deal with clients at the highest level - Experience and ability to lead and inspire interdepartmental client teams - Good knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and digital media, including branding, design, business analysis, project management and production process - Ability to prioritise heavy workload and jump from one project to another - PC and Mac literate - Knowledge of other digital disciplines an advantage, e.g. video, motion graphics, animation This is a permanent role with a salary up to £30k.
