With talk of a global recession, the credit crunch, banks failing, etc, we're all watching our pennies these days. Cosy nights in front of the TV are starting to feel more appealing as each day passes. In this world of digital and satellite TV, as you flick through your extensive programme guides do you ever wonder who designs them? Probably not - and neither did I until I picked up this new job. Yes ladies and gentleman, I'm looking for the people who DO design electronic programme guides. It's a very niche job but somebody must be doing it! You'll need to have current hands on experience of user interaction and interface design within a consumer device (set top box, pc, mobile, personal media player etc) or broadcast environment. You should have a track record of delivering EPG design solutions through all phases of the design process from the conceptual/ storyboarding stage right through the whole design and production phase. Technical expertise in Photoshop, After Effects and Final Cut Pro is essential. Any experience in 3D Studio Max or another 3D software package is highly desirable. If this sounds like you and you want the chance to work with a leading company in the field of EPG design then I'd love to hear from you. Please email me with your CV and portfolio immediately. As well as a competitive salary, this role comes with a generous benefits package. Please note, due to high volumes of response, only those applicants who are successful will be contacted.
