I'm looking for a Web Designer to join an expanding web team, working on award winning transactional web sites in an in-house design studio in Crawley, Surrey. Ideally you'll have a design degree and a minimum of 2-3 years' web design experience and a strong supporting portfolio, you will have an excellent understanding of online and multimedia processes, a strong appreciation of usability, information architecture and other issues associated with designing dynamic database driven sites. A dedicated and enthusiastic team player, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work creatively under pressure, individually, or as part of a team and demonstrate initiative when needed. You will be highly skilled in various industry standard web design packages, specifically Dreamweaver, Adobe PhotoShop / Image Ready, Freehand/Illustrator and Macromedia Flash, with a good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Skills in DHTML, Flash actionscripting and Director are also an advantage but not essential. This is a permanent role with an immediate start paying a salary of £20k.
