Would you like to work for one of the UK's great cultural institutions? Over two-and-a-half centuries our client has been a leader in research projects, events management and research programmes in arts, design, education, environment and public services. We have a new opportunity for a web editor to join the team and become immersed in the group's work, with potential to specialise, learn and develop within the arts sector. Supporting the Web Manager, this role is for a web specialist to maintain, develop and edit their website, microsites, and social networking sites. Responsibilities cover: › Liaising with External affairs and Web Manager to create a dynamic and appealing site for visitors. › Updating the website, maintaining design standards using Photoshop and Acrobat, and ensuring consistency. › Moderating the social networking platform (the group boasts over 27,000 fellows) and actively growing the community. › Ensuring the site is in line with up-to-date SEO techniques and other forms of promotion including podcasts, blogs and . › Managing the multimedia library and ensuring compliance with W3C legislation. I am looking for a communications and web all-rounder who can show: › Excellent knowledge of HTML › Experience of working in full-featured content management systems › Knowledge of Photoshop and design software › Understanding of RSS, blogging and user generated content Please send CVs to Joe Faulkner
